About the role
HCA Midwest is partnering with a private anesthesia practice to expand its practice in the Kansas City metro.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care under the supervision of a physician
- Assist with surgical procedures
- Monitor patient vital signs during and after anesthesia
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Prepare operating rooms and equipment
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
- Valid CRNA certification required
- Current license for the state of Missouri and Kansas
- BLS/ACLS or willing to obtain certifications
Qualifications
- Experience in anesthesia care preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Proficient in anesthesia administration
- Knowledgeable in post-anesthesia care protocols
- Skilled in patient assessment and monitoring
