The position is an Anesthesiologist opening with PRIME Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. PRIME Saint Joseph Medical Center is a 480-bed facility known for its comprehensive services, including a leading cancer center, Level II emergency and trauma center, and heart and vascular program. Requirements

• M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
• ECFMG and FLEX Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
• Currently licensed as a physician
• Sign on bonus: $75K
• Loan repayment or training assistance program funding available

Responsibilities

• Case assignments: Cardiac, thoracic, neuro, general, OB, and healthy peds
• Affiliate in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
• Medical management of patients rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
• Pre-anesthesia assessment
• Obtaining and/or verifying patient consent
• Discussing anesthetic options and risks with the patient
• Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
• Performance of clinical intervention as needed
