Anesthesiologist | Practice Near the Finger Lakes | Pick Your Cases + 10 Weeks Vacation + $200K Incentives
About the role
At Rochester Regional Health, anesthesiologists practice in a physician-led department built around a highly engaged leadership structure and a collaborative care team model. The focus is on fairness, flexibility, and creating a sustainable practice where physicians are supported in both their clinical work and their lives outside the OR. With five hospitals and three ambulatory surgery centers located in close proximity, physicians benefit from clinical variety, schedule flexibility, and operational stability while maintaining meaningful control over their day-to-day practice. Physicians value an equitable pick system for daily assignments, a balanced practice structure (~50% personally performed cases, 50% medical direction supervising CRNAs), and a collaborative department of >50 anesthesiologists with stable leadership and low turnover. There are no non‑compete clauses or exclusivity requirements. Optional involvement in teaching, quality initiatives, leadership, and departmental development is available. Life in Rochester offers affordable housing, strong public schools, short commutes (15‑20 min to facilities), immediate access to the Finger Lakes region for outdoor recreation, and a growing food, brewery, arts, and music scene.
