Summary Seeking a Medical Director (MD) to oversee pediatric anesthesia services at a Level 1 Trauma Center. The role involves providing medical direction for diverse pediatric surgical cases, supervising a team of 9 anesthesiologists and 13 certified registered nurse anesthetists. The MD will ensure quality patient safety protocols, oversee anesthesia delivery, and collaborate within a modern, supportive clinical environment. Responsibilities include supervising anesthesia care for patients from neonates to older children, maintaining 100% medical direction with no hands-on involvement, and adhering to established anesthesia protocols. The position requires board certification and prescriptive authority. Key duties involve overseeing anesthesia services across varied case loads, ensuring safety standards, and working structured shifts on-site, including weekdays. There are no call responsibilities.
