Anesthesiologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

This position is for a board-certified MD specializing in anesthesia, providing services in a hospital's operating room setting. The clinician will deliver anesthesia during day shifts, supporting a diverse surgical case mix including cardiac, thoracic, general, orthopedic, OB/GYN, ENT, urology, neuro, vascular, plastics, pediatrics, and podiatry procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care with supervision, participating in all CV cases alongside CRNAs.
• Support a variety of surgical specialties and patient populations of all ages.
• Participate in call duties, including weeknights and weekends, with callback requirements.

Requirements

• Board certification in Anesthesiology and TEE certification required.
• Fellowship training is not necessary.

Additional Details

• Support staff includes CRNAs for every CV case.
• Approximately 50% hands-on clinical work with supervision.
