About the role

USAP Colorado Springs is seeking experienced anesthesiologists and new graduates to join our physician-led team. We offer an environment prioritizing physician work-life balance through flexibility and individual autonomy.

Practice Details

• Exclusive contract at 3 CommonSpirit hospitals (Penrose, St Francis, and St Francis Interquest)
• 6 outpatient surgery centers
• Variety of specialties including orthopedics, ENT, spine, neurosurgery, L&D, healthy peds, urology, vascular, thoracic, and cardiac
• Current team size: 50 physicians, 25 CAAs, 5 CRNAs
• Average call burden: 1-2 in-house calls per month, 7-8 weekends per year
• Moderate trauma load with highest acuity hospital being a level 2

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. with completed Anesthesiology Residency
• Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
• Completed and meets hospital credentialing requirements for the hospitals they will have privileges
