About the role
General Anesthesiologist responsible for providing comprehensive anesthesia care in a high-acuity, academic medical center setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients across diverse specialties including neuro, vascular, thoracic, spine, obstetrics, trauma, electrophysiology, and outpatient procedures.
- Collaborate within a care-team model, supervising CRNAs (1:3–1:4) and participating in resident and student teaching (ratios 1:1–1:2).
- Maintain a balanced schedule with Monday–Friday clinical duties, in-house night coverage, and manageable weekend commitments.
- Utilize facilities with 25 main ORs and 14 ambulatory ORs, with support from pediatric, cardiac, and liver anesthesia teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Medical degree with board certification in anesthesiology.
- Experience with a broad case mix in a tertiary care environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and teaching abilities.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, mission-driven culture.
