Anesthesia Technician I
About the role
The Anesthesia Technician reports to the Anesthesia Technician Supervisor. Under limited supervision, the Anesthesia Technician assists licensed anesthesia providers in the preparation and maintenance of patient monitoring devices and Anesthesia delivery systems. The Anesthesia Technician assists in the acquisition, preparation, assembly, and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia. This role performs a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist attending anesthesiologists, residents and CRNAs in performing anesthetic procedures for patients ranging from young adult to geriatrics.
Responsibilities
- Aids in the preparation and maintenance of patient monitoring devices and Anesthesia delivery systems.
- Aids in the acquisition, preparation, assembly, and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia.
- Performs a variety of technical and supportive patient care tasks to assist attending anesthesiologists, residents and CRNAs in performing anesthetic procedures for patients ranging from young adult to geriatrics.
Requirements
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- 0-6 months of work experience
