Anesthesia Technician

About the Role

As an Anesthesia Technician with HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to ensure every procedure goes safely and smoothly. This role requires some experience and the ability to work Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for team needs
• Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to ensure all supplies are clean and ready for safe use
• Assisting patients with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices
• Responding quickly and confidently to emergencies
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment by following infection prevention and safety practices
• Communicating openly with patients, families, and the team while protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
• Prefer some patient care experience, preferably hospital-based
