Anesthesia Technician, 2p-10:30p *Call Required*

Responsibilities

• Prepares the surgical environment with essential equipment and supplies for the provision of anesthesia or sedation.
• Assists other members of the health care team in the delivery of patient care.
• Functions in a supportive role for efficiency in care access.
• Focuses on the preparation and handling of physiological monitors, maintenance of gas machines and anesthesia cart supplies.
• Performs room set-up and cleaning between procedures.
• Applies knowledge of growth and development to administer care and use of equipment applicable to the age and needs of the patient population served.

Qualifications

No experience required. Comprehensive on-the-job training is provided.

• High School Diploma or GED (desired).
• One year in a surgical or intensive care setting (desired).
