Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of a licensed anesthesia professional or Anesthesia Technologist: assists the anesthesiologist and/or anesthetist in the acquisition, preparation and application of the equipment and supplies required for the administration of anesthesia.
• Adheres to Universal Precautions in all clinical areas.
• Provides support to routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparations and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems, before, during and after anesthesia.

Qualifications

• Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
• Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support.
• Additional Qualifications: Hospital experience as an anesthesia technician preferred. Experience as an EMT paramedic desired. Knowledge in ACLS desirable. Knowledge in PALS desirable for BHM, HH, MASC.
• Minimum Required Experience: Less than 1 year

Pay

Estimated pay range for this position is $20.42 - $28.16 / hour depending on experience.
