Anesthesia Physician Position – Murrells Inlet, SC

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Anesthesiologist to join a growing health system in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. This role is an employed position within MUSC Community Physicians and practices within the Tidelands Health system to serve Georgetown and Horry Counties, the second fastest growing region in the country.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team providing anesthesia care to surgical patients
• Assist with the planning and execution of anesthesia care for various surgical procedures
• Manage perioperative medications and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in continuing medical education and professional development activities

Requirements

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Current South Carolina Medical License
• Experience in an academic or community setting preferred

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology residency program
• Passing scores from the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) or Comprehensive Osteopathic Medical Licensing Examination (COMLEX)
