Responsibilities

• Blended team of Anesthesia physicians and CRNAs.
• Diverse case mix including neurosurgery, vascular, general surgery, OB/GYN, and urology.
• Two locations and credentialing at both sites (UPH St. Lukes downtown and UPH Downtown location).
• Vascular hybrid room, cardiac, and trauma North Mercy - OB and pediatric patients.
• Patient-focused, friendly, and willing to collaborate in a team environment.
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Anesthesia for Nurses.
• Board eligible or board certified.
• Complies with criteria for recertification.
• Holds an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa.
• Holds current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
