Android Engineer
About the role
We're hiring Android Engineers across multiple teams at Whatnot, with opportunities to work on product experiences or mobile infrastructure. On our product teams, you'll build mobile experiences that sit close to our buyers and sellers, shaping how people discover Whatnot, buy and sell, and engage with our marketplace. You'll partner closely with product, design, and backend engineering to solve customer problems and build intuitive, high-quality experiences at scale.
We're also hiring on our App Platform team, where you'll build the mobile infrastructure that powers every Android experience across the app. From developer tooling and app architecture to performance, reliability, and platform foundations, you'll create systems that enable product teams to ship faster while delivering a best-in-class experience to millions of users.
Rather than applying to a specific team, you'll go through a general interview process focused on your technical skills and experience. Throughout the process, we'll learn more about your interests and match you with the team where you'll have the greatest impact.
