Job Summary
Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s leading live entertainment company, comprising Ticketmaster, Live Nation Concerts, and Live Nation Media & Sponsorship. The Gorge Amphitheatre is seeking a fun, energetic, and music-loving individual to join their seasonal, hourly ancillary sales team. This position works concert days only, starting in May and concluding in early October, with potential for a full 2027 season.
About the role
The Gorge Amphitheatre is looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to assist in managing ancillary sales and services. This includes greeting guests, communicating special offers, selling merchandise, and ensuring smooth operations during concerts.
Responsibilities
- Greet all guests and answer any questions they may have about the venue.
- Communicate daily specials on ancillary items, future ticket specials, and seat upgrades.
- Sell, distribute, collect, and organize lawn chairs throughout the venue.
- Aid the Ancillary Manager in setting up and breaking down signs, tables, and tents as needed.
- Inventory merchandise and help maintain inventory throughout the show.
- Work and be familiar with all ancillary areas.
- Operate electronic sales systems and process transactions efficiently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays, including late evenings.
Qualifications
- Constant walking, standing, and occasional sitting in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions.
- Lifting/carrying 25+ pounds.
Benefits
The expected compensation for this position is $17.13 USD - $19.00 USD per hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
