About the role
The College of Natural Sciences at GCU is seeking adjunct faculty members to teach part-time, in-person courses at the Phoenix campus. Courses are scheduled for the Fall 2026 semester.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
Qualifications
- Preferred: Doctorate in a Biological Science with emphasis in anatomy OR physiology
- Minimum: Master's in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology emphasizing anatomy or physiology

Course Information
Course: Anatomy and Physiology for Science Majors I Lab
This course involves study of the gross anatomy and function of the skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. This experiential lab involves an advanced exploration of concepts utilizing human cadavers and other supplemental materials.

- Afford students the opportunity to assess their own performance and mentor their success in the classroom
