Responsibilities

• Computer accessioning of surgical, cytology, and flow cytometry specimens in Cerner, Star, and Copia
• Exceptional customer service with outside physicians’ offices and medical staff
• Fax and scan documents
• Schedule frozen section procedures
• Monitor, maintain, and fill supply orders for AP clients
• Order specimen pick-ups and send-outs with lab couriers
• Cytology processing, when needed

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 1-3 years’ related experience
• Medical terminology knowledge
• Familiarity with ICD-9/10 and CPT codes

Schedule

Full-time (1.0 FTE), Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
