Work you'll do As the Specialist Lead you will serve as the technical subject matter expert of Deloitte's Planning & Forecasting platform and will: Lead the technical implementation, ongoing operation and maintenance of the Firm's Planning & Forecasting platform in AnaplanExecute the development and implementation of complex enhancementsEfficiently troubleshoot and resolve defects within Anaplan, providing regular status updates through both verbal and written communication to Finance Business PartnersTransform data into useful information on the platform through storyboarding and data visualizationTranslate conceptual insights into user interface enhancements that enable leaders to make informed decisionsProvide recommendations and design solutions for defects and enhancements in AnaplanCollaborate across various teams and stakeholders to drive systemic solutions and sustainable impact across the platformUnderstand and provide expertise regarding the platform framework for each Business, design methodology and calculationsDevelop and follow sprint cycles, create test scripts for user acceptance testing, and assist end users during testing The successful candidate would possess Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to others The Team The Enterprise Planning & Capital Management organization provides world-class financial support to our business, market, and finance leaders. As advisors, we serve as strategic partners to our leaders, influencing decision-making and driving meaningful financial and business outcomes. Within the organization, the Centers of Excellence (COE) teams establish and drive leading practices and provide subject matter expertise across the firm, partnering with operational teams to maximize the value and insights delivered to the business. The Planning & Forecasting (P&F) COE leads the US firm's approach to annual plan, long-term plan, and forecast, providing the guidance, narrative, and insights needed to strengthen transparency, consistency, governance, and alignment with firm strategy. This role supports Deloitte's planning and forecasting platform. Key qualifications and responsibilities are outlined below. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, or another technical disciplineCertified Anaplan Solution ArchitectMinimum of 5+ years of relevant experience working in Finance or ITExperience leading Anaplan end-to-end implementationsAbility to develop formulas and manage dependencies across interconnected Anaplan modulesCreate intuitive Anaplan UX pages with effective formatting and data visualizations for end usersManage end user role-based security accessAbility to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Preferred: Advanced education degreeExperience in a professional services firmFoundational knowledge of financial systems (SAP, Anaplan) The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,600 to $163,100. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
