Anaplan Senior Consultant

About the role

The role involves contributing to client-facing planning transformation engagements by supporting the design and delivery of enterprise planning solutions. Key responsibilities include client advisory, solution configuration, and implementation support across planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Audit and design future-state solutions for planning, budgeting, and forecasting
• Build and enhance Anaplan models, including Data Hub architecture and integrations
• Perform finance data assessments and analysis to generate insights for business and executive stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into technical designs, develop test plans, support user acceptance testing, and provide post-launch support
• Support or lead workstreams using agile delivery methods, develop client deliverables, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive adoption and business outcomes

Requirements

• Hands-on Anaplan experience
• Experience supporting project workstreams and deliverables
• Ability to translate client requirements into scalable models that improve planning capabilities and support business decision-making

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• Anaplan Model Builder certification (Level1 & Level 2)
• 2+ years of experience applying SDLC processes, including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, and production support
• 4+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years designing, building, and implementing Anaplan solutions for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in a consulting or corporate environment
• Experience with Anaplan Data Hub architecture, integrations, requirements gathering, and implementation delivery
• 3+ years of experience performing finance data analysis and delivering findings through dashboards, reports, or model outputs
• Ability to travel 25–50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred

• 4+ years of consulting experience in a professional services environment or internal consulting function
• Experience serving as an Anaplan Solution Architect, Delivery Manager, or both
• Experience implementing enterprise financial planning processes using Anaplan and enterprise data platforms
• Experience leading workstreams with responsibility for scope, schedule, and deliverables
• Experience supporting proposals and requests for proposal responses
• Experience developing presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint for executive stakeholders

Pay

The wage range for this role is $110,700 to $213,300, taking into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

Schedule

Based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve, the expected travel percentage is 25–50%.
