This position sits within the Planning & Forecasting (P&F) Center of Excellence, part of Deloitte's Enterprise Planning & Capital Management organization. The team provides world‑class financial support to business, market, and finance leaders, acting as strategic partners who influence decision‑making and drive meaningful financial outcomes. The P&F COE leads the US firm’s approach to annual planning, long‑term planning, and forecasting, delivering guidance, narrative, and insights that strengthen transparency, consistency, governance, and alignment with firm strategy. The Specialist Lead serves as the technical subject‑matter expert for the firm’s Planning & Forecasting platform built on Anaplan, supporting a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with opportunities for personal and professional development. Responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation, ongoing operation, and maintenance of the firm’s Planning & Forecasting platform in Anaplan
- Execute the development and implementation of complex enhancements
- Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve defects within Anaplan, providing regular status updates through both verbal and written communication to Finance Business Partners
- Transform data into useful information on the platform through storyboarding and data visualization
- Translate conceptual insights into user interface enhancements that enable leaders to make informed decisions
- Provide recommendations and design solutions for defects and enhancements in Anaplan
- Collaborate across various teams and stakeholders to drive systemic solutions and sustainable impact across the platform
- Understand and provide expertise regarding the platform framework for each business, design methodology, and calculations
- Develop and follow sprint cycles, create test scripts for user acceptance testing, and assist end users during testing
