Responsibilities

• Data Modeling & Development: Own well-scoped modeling tasks following team standards
• Write SQL and basic dbt models and tests
• Contribute to BI modeling and semantic layer development
• Follow best programming practices, writing clean and documented code
• Documentation & Quality: Create model READMEs and documentation with clear caveats
• Support data quality checks and validation
• Maintain lineage and catalog entries as directed
• Collaboration: Work with senior team members to understand requirements and map metrics to business questions
• Receive and respond to feedback in a professional manner
• Use basic features of version control software (Git)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or related field
• 0-2 years of experience in analytics, BI, or data modeling
• Coursework or experience in data modeling and statistics
• Experience with Git and version control workflows preferred
• Healthcare data experience preferred
• Proficiency in SQL and basic familiarity with dbt
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake)
• Familiarity with BI modeling fundamentals
