About The Role
The Analytics Engineer I develops and maintains curated datasets within the gold layer of the enterprise data platform, ensuring data is accurate, consistent, and usable for downstream analytics and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data models in the gold layer using Databricks
- Apply established data modeling standards and best practices
- Support development of the semantic layer for analytics use
- Validate and test data for accuracy and consistency
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data, Analytics, Computer Science, or related field
- 0–3 years of experience in data or analytics roles
- Experience with SQL and data transformation
- Exposure to Databricks or similar platforms preferred
Skills
- Strong SQL fundamentals
- Basic understanding of data modeling concepts
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly
