About the Opportunity
The Analytics Engineer 4 is responsible for designing and implementing data systems and analyses that enable the data science team to conduct experiments and derive actionable insights. This role supports multiple teams by creating data pipelines, interpreting complex data, and reporting findings to enhance the understanding and performance of product features, particularly in advertising delivery.
Responsibilities
- Apply mathematical and statistical methods to design appropriate data samples for experiments and analyses.
- Design efficient data collection systems and identify key data points for experimentation and tracking.
- Interpret data and present conclusions from analyses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify analyses that yield actionable insights.
- Build and maintain data pipelines for analysis of product features.
- Clean and summarize data for reporting and data science purposes.
- Combine data from various sources to generate client reports on ad product performance.
- Analyze discrepancies in ad product delivery to identify and improve pipeline gaps.
Requirements
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- At least three years of relevant experience.
- Experience using data analysis tools such as Databricks or Snowflake.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for large scale data analysis.
- Experience with data processing languages like Airflow or Alteryx for building data pipelines.
- Skilled in Tableau or Looker for reporting, dashboard creation, and data insight generation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including VBA coding, Pivot Tables, and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to collect large datasets and visualize insights.
Pay and Compensation
- The starting salary for this role is expected to be $175,000 to $180,000 per year.
- A meaningful equity grant is expected, with quarterly vesting starting within three months of employment.
- Total compensation will vary based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
