About the role
Piper Companies is looking for an Analytical Research Associate to join a biotechnology company located in the Baltimore, Maryland area.
Responsibilities
- Execute research and development activities under direct supervision
- Perform validation activities in support of QC under direct supervision
- Conduct analytical method experiments and collect data
- Prepare preliminary reports and maintain R&D and validation documentation
- Assist with laboratory and equipment maintenance activities
- Draft and revise R&D and GMP documentation, including SOPs, forms, and reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent related experience
- Experience in a research or clinical laboratory environment
- Experience with assay development/troubleshooting, bioassays, cell culture, ELISA, PCR, and analytical methods preferred
- Knowledge of SOPs and strong technical writing skills
- Strong data analysis, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Pay
- Rate Range: $28 - 32/hr, depending on experience
