About the role
We are seeking an analytical chemistry specialist to contribute to the development of high-quality training data for large-scale language models. This role involves challenging advanced language models on topics related to spectroscopy, chromatography, electrochemical analysis, and other analytical techniques.
Responsibilities
- Converse with advanced language models on lab scenarios and theoretical analytical chemistry questions
- Verify factual accuracy and logical soundness of model responses
- Document every failure mode encountered during interactions
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics
Requirements
- PhD in analytical chemistry or a closely related chemical science field
- Peer-reviewed publications, lab-based method development, regulatory testing, or instrumentation-intensive research experience
- Clear, metacognitive communication skills

Skills

- Experience with mass spectrometry, HPLC, and GC techniques
- Strong communication and metacognitive skills
