Job Summary Join a leading global biotechnology organization in vibrant San Diego, CA, as an Analytical Chemistry Scientist 2. This high-impact, onsite role focuses on developing, validating, and transferring robust analytical methods for cutting-edge oligonucleotide programs. location: San Diego, California job type: Contract salary: $40 - 45 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors Responsibilities Develop, optimize, validate, and transfer analytical methods for oligonucleotides, raw materials, and reagent consumables.Design, plan, and execute laboratory experiments using UHPLC, LC-MS, UV, and NMR techniques with minimal supervision.Analyze complex data, interpret results, and troubleshoot unexpected analytical outcomes.Author study protocols, validation reports, and assay work instructions with strong attention to detail.Ensure full compliance with cGMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and organizational quality standards. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.Minimum of 3-4 years of hands-on experience in analytical method development, qualification, validation, and transfer.Proficient with chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, including HPLC/UHPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis, FTIR, and NMR.Demonstrated hands-on experience in the characterization and analytical testing of oligonucleotides.Excellent cross-functional collaboration and technical documentation skills.
