The Analyst – Last Mile Delivery plays a crucial role in establishing an optimal logistics flow within RONA's dynamic supply chain. Using a range of tools and data sources, the Analyst – Last Mile Delivery provides reports and cost estimation recommendations related to last-mile delivery. This role acts as a technical expert and possesses a solid understanding of supply chain fundamentals. The Analyst – Last Mile Delivery is committed to continuously improving this expertise to decipher the complexities of RONA's evolving last-mile network. Responsibilities
- Analyzer the shipment estimates against actual costs and provide reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
- Analyze problems or anomalies reported by operational teams, propose solutions, implement corrections if necessary, or seek advice from relevant support groups.
- Act as an expert and resource at the corporate headquarters for enterprise support functions.
- Affirm compliance with last-mile carriers by analyzing actual expenses to facilitate cost recovery.
- Identify suppliers who do not adhere to process flow processes through reports.
- Analyze historical claims request data to improve processes, profitability, and customer experience.
- Manage logistical decision-making activities requiring contributor adherence across various activity sectors.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to find cost-effective logistics solutions.
- Develop, implement, maintain, refine, and configure logistics analysis and decision-making tools for flow rules.
- Support initiatives aimed at optimizing supply chain efficiency, market speed, and customer experience.
- Create documentation and schematic diagrams for key processes, as well as decision-making process flowcharts.
- Establish relationships and collaborate with multiple teams and experts across sites and departments, including supply chain, marketing, and external logistics partners.
- Generate ad-hoc analyses and reports for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration (operations, logistics, supply chain), engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of increasing responsibility in distribution, logistics, or transportation.
- Experience in retail sector, within a national distributor or logistics service provider with experience in partial load (LTL) or voluminous (Big+) last-mile deliveries.
- Critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and decision-making skills; proactive approach and willingness to challenge existing processes and propose new solutions.
- Organizational sense and rigor; demonstrated ability to execute tasks effectively, punctually, and under pressure, as well as manage priorities in a rapidly evolving environment.
- Ability to work with teams at all organizational levels and across various functions in a complex environment.
- Communication skills; demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all organizational levels and with all business units to persuade and lead others in difficult situations.

Pay
The salary scale for this position ranges between $62,000 and $82,000 annually.
