Analyst - Valuation, Forensic & Litigation
About the role
Analyst are accountable for applying their working knowledge and skills, developed through formal training or relevant work experience, to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively. They perform straightforward tasks with specific instructions and consistent delivery of high-quality work with minimal guidance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with business valuation and forensic accounting engagements across a variety of industries.
- Perform financial analysis, research and document review to support client engagements.
- Capture, organize, and analyze financial data from client records and other sources.
- Aid in valuation analyses, financial models, computations, and supporting schedules.
- Aid in drafting reports, correspondence, and workpapers.
- Participate in client meetings and assist with information gathering and follow-up requests.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality client service.
- Stay current on business valuation methodologies, forensic accounting practices, and industry developments.
- Contribute to multiple engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Proficiency in accounting, finance and economic principles
- Proficient in utilizing spreadsheets and databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Familiarity with business and personal tax returns, as well as financial statements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Progress toward, or interest in pursuing, a professional credential is preferred

Pay
BST offers a competitive benefits package, base compensation, and an employee bonus program for eligible roles based on individual and firm performance per program guidelines.
