About the role

Santander is evolving from a high-impact brand into a technology-driven organization. As part of this transformation, the CIB Structured Finance-IC6 role involves researching, analyzing, and preparing support documents and client presentation materials. You will write offering memoranda and engagement letters, analyze companies from financial, operational, competitive, and industry perspectives, build complex financial models in Microsoft Excel, perform transaction due diligence, ensure compliance with policies and regulations, and research industries and market data.

Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze, and prepare support documents and client presentation materials as requested by the team and management.
  • Write offering memoranda and engagement letters.
  • Analyze companies from financial, operational, competitive, and industry standpoints.
  • Build complex financial models using Microsoft Excel.
  • Perform transaction due diligence.
  • Ensure compliance with all policy, legal, and federal regulations.
  • Research and analyze industries and market data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education (Required).
  • 3+ years of experience in Product Development, Product Management, or a related field (Required).
  • Financial Services industry experience (Preferred).
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage deadlines.
  • Process-oriented with strong attention to detail and aesthetic sensibility.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) with the ability to learn new software.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and project management skills.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $135,000.00 USD annually. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and location.

Working Conditions

Frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking is required. Depending on location, occasional moving and lifting of light equipment and/or furniture may be required.
