Analyst, Supply Planning

As a Supply Planning Analyst with Energizer's Global Auto Care Division, you'll play a critical role in ensuring products get to customers when and where they're needed. Responsibilities
- Review SAP MRP as well as SAP IBP supply-demand requirements and make decisions on replenishment quantities and timing that optimize inventory position (i.e., working capital) while maximizing fill-rates. You will be responsible for planning and scheduling multiple packaging lines with an estimated $15-$25M under your scope.
- Establish and manage relationships with material buyers and line supervision to coordinate production timing and shipment deliveries; track all finished goods to ensure timely delivery to meet operationally JIT requirements.
- Maintain positive, professional working relationships with all associates while ensuring we meet customer demand.
- Identify and expedite finished goods to account for changes in plan to ensure high customer service levels.
- Manage inventory levels for assigned product families to ensure high turnover performance; identify slow-moving materials and proactively manage to reduce inventory.
- Proactively work with the plant and buyers to improve supply planning parameters to enhance service level, inventory, and responsiveness.
- Manage all item MRP planning parameters (Master Data) for optimal system performance within SAP/IBP.
- Develop, run, and generate reports that provide clearly actionable metrics; measure plant performance and schedule adherence to correct non-compliance and performance issues.
- Coordinate with internal departments on new item introductions, item transitions, and item closeouts.
- Track non-scheduled line or product changeovers to ensure root causes are actionable.
- Partner with Sourcing Managers to work on supplier/supply issues, optimization processes, and provide material insights and ordering patterns to optimize the supply chain.
- Responsible for moving materials and finished goods between plants and warehouses as determined by job function.
Requirements
- BS/BA (4-year undergraduate) degree is preferred but will consider expertise and experience in the planning field.
- At least 3-5 years of supply chain planning and analysis experience.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
- ERP/MRP experience required (SAP MM & PP preferred). SAP IBP application experience is preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to utilize the Microsoft Office platform to analyze situations and identify risks and mitigation plans.
- Demonstrated understanding of the supply chain from plan, source, make, to deliver, with a focus on capacity and material planning.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with internal and external partners.
- Prior commodity experience dealing with CPG-related materials.
- Strong persuasive skills in managing key suppliers and ability to develop partnerships to drive cost savings.
- Team player with strong initiative and ability to multi-task/manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with CPG or seasonal businesses.
- Experience in capacity planning, materials replenishment, or demand planning.
Work Environment
- Mixed office/manufacturing environment with a shared office.
- Hybrid role requiring in-plant and remote work.
- Cross-functional relationships with Operations, Procurement, Material Buying, and Engineering.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
