Analyst-Supply Optimization
About the role
The Analyst Supply Optimization position is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the Kanban program to ensure optimal efficiency. This includes analysis and maintenance of Kanban nodes, addressing customer needs, and implementing necessary changes.
Responsibilities
- Proactively extracts and analyzes data from ERP and DMS systems to identify supply efficiency opportunities.
- Utilizes DMS Dashboard for daily work and creating reports for clinical and support teams as needed.
- Performs regular audits of Kanban nodes and resolves discrepancies.
- Manages customer requests and concerns through the QCN process.
- Retrofit equipment based on supply area needs.
- Supports the Lead Analyst Supply Optimization team in planning and building supply nodes.
- Communicates and negotiates with clients to identify needs and evaluate solutions, seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction.
- Distributes, collects, and analyzes customer satisfaction surveys.

- Sweeps, straightens, and keeps workspaces clean, adhering to lean methodologies and 5S principles.
- Consistently communicates status updates, required resources, and assistance to leadership.
- Participates in regular team huddles to ensure Kanban operations meet the needs of the end-user community and continuously improve.
- Supports a safe working environment, complying with all regulatory requirements and hospital safety policies.
Requirements
Able to be trained and certified on the use of an electric pallet jack within 30 days of hire. High School Diploma or GED. One to two years Hospital Supply Chain logistics experience. One to three years experience analyzing data to solve complex supply inefficiencies. Familiarity with MS Office applications, Excel, Outlook, Word, and knowledge of medical supply terminology. Technical skills to operate PCs and handheld devices.
Qualifications

Skills
Familiarity with MS Office applications, Excel, Outlook, Word to conduct analysis of supply distribution data and apply findings to problem resolution and create efficiencies in the process. Possession of knowledge and ability to extract data from ERP and DMS. Unrelentless detail orientation, ability to manage multiple projects, and prioritization of work. Professional interpersonal skills to interact with clinicians and other hospital personnel. Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, crouch, push/pull, and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Knowledge of medical supply terminology. Technical skills to operate PC and handheld devices.
