About the role

As part of the Supply Analytics team, you will identify new partners and opportunities, cultivate relationships, and collaborate with partners to deliver the best outcomes for end customers. You will manage day-to-day partner interactions and work closely with other Agoda teams to meet partner needs. The role involves designing tailored business and product solutions, empowering partners to generate measurable value, and building win-win relationships. You will leverage Agoda’s accommodations portfolio and tech solutions to introduce more travelers to Agoda’s products and services, increasing visibility and revenue.

This is an individual contributor role with full empowerment to work with partners on the ground. You will be supported by the Supply department and collaborate across Agoda. Key responsibilities include:

  • Using and analyzing data from large-scale data warehouses and presenting statistically strong analysis to a wide range of business stakeholders.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for growth within supply and the wider business.
  • Driving new analytical initiatives and projects to improve organizational efficiency and shape Agoda’s supply strategy.
  • Identifying, supporting, and leading projects to scale how the Supply organization leverages data, insights, and intelligence.
  • Automating manual operational processes and presenting time savings gained through modernization of business operations.

Requirements

  • 2–5+ years of experience as an Analyst in analytics, data science, insights, strategy, or BI.
  • Advanced working knowledge and hands-on experience in SQL.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau (preferred).
  • Expertise in data analysis and visualization tools and software including Excel, Python (or R).
  • Bachelor’s degree ideally in a business or quantitative subject (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering, science, economics, or finance).
  • Understanding of statistical modeling or machine learning techniques (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression, logistic regression, random forest).
  • Strong stakeholder management experience; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and the C-suite.
  • Experience conducting A/B testing experiments.
  • Experience finding data insights and providing business recommendations.
  • A hacker’s mindset: ability to build simple, clever, and elegant solutions under resource, operational, and time constraints through deep business understanding, creative problem solving, and broad expertise in data, analytics, automation, programming, and prototyping.
  • Excellent communication skills with superior written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Data-driven decision making and performance measurement.
  • Comfort in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and coordinate resources.

Nice to have
