Analyst / Senior Analyst, Category Finance - Happy Family

About the role

The Finance team at Danone works with teams across the company to ensure continued growth. This role supports the planning processes, provides analytical support, and assists with cross-functional team requests.

Responsibilities

• Analyze actuals performance and advise team on forward-looking adjustments
• Support the GPS forecasts, collaborating with the team and cross-functional partners to develop and communicate these forecasts
• Support cross-functional alignment and required reporting/management deliverables for month-, quarter-, and year-end closes as needed
• Grow yourself and participate in improving financial processes and ways of working within the Business Unit
• Support the team in ad-hoc analyses and assist in decision-making processes within the Happy Family BU

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Minimum of 4 years working in finance or accounting, with previous exposure to operations/manufacturing finance preferred
• Experience with standard cost accounting and variance analysis
• Expert analytical skills and ability to handle big data sets
• Proven ability to produce high-end work products using Excel, managing ad hoc requests
• Ability to manage high complexity, numerous projects, and set proper priorities
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional communication skills
• Expertise in explaining financial concepts to non-finance professionals

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• At least 4 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in operations/manufacturing finance
• Experience with standard cost accounting and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to produce high-end work products and manage ad hoc requests
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects
• Excellent teamwork and cross-functional communication skills
• Ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance professionals

Pay

The salary range for this position is $75k-95k USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions.

Schedule

This role is considered a “hybrid” position that allows for flexible work, meaning it is a role where collaboration with key stakeholders in Danone Hubs occurs. While you may have the option to work from home on a schedule as agreed to with your supervisor, you are also expected to regularly report to your assigned office location at least 3 days per week.
