Analyst-Payments
About the role
We have a great opportunity in our Accounts Receivable (AR) Payments Reconciliation Team. You’ll be working on a variety of core accounting activities such as preparing journal entries, verifying records, balancing accounts and resolving errors. Our financials can get a bit complicated, and we have a few government regulations we’ve got to comply with as well. But our finance team is the best in the business—join the team that keeps our financial operations accurate, compliant, and running like clockwork.
Responsibilities
- Prepare financial reports and account reconciliations.
- Balancing cash accounts.
- Monitor and reconcile daily payment transactions, merchant accounts, and bank settlements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Analyze failed transactions, chargebacks, and payment processing errors to resolve root causes.
- Run models and updating databases.
- Aid in monthly, quarterly and year-end close activities.
- Review the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.

Qualifications
- One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
- Knowledge of FASB requirements, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and accounting best practices.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting systems and applications such as SAP, ReconNET, Optimus Fintech, CPM/Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management, Blackline, SQL or relevant systems and applications.
- CPA certification (or are in the process of getting certified).

Pay
The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more.
Schedule
Depending on the role, employees have the opportunity to receive compensation in the form of premium pay such as overtime, shift differential, holiday pay, allowances, etc. Newly hired employees receive up to 15 days of vacation per year, which grows with additional service. For part-timers, your coverage will vary as you may be eligible for some of these benefits depending on your individual circumstances.
