Analyst, IT
Role Summary
The IT Analyst, Security role will be directly involved in supporting the implementation and administration of information security technologies in order to ensure the protection of Buckeye's assets.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions Include
Project Implementation/Management. Complete assigned projects and tasks to assist with the implementation of various projects related to Buckeye’s service(s).
Document end-user requirements related to any new applications or services.
System Maintenance. Perform the maintenance of the various systems and technologies. Respond to reported service issues.
Service Administration. Assist system administrators in the setup of assigned services and administering systems interfaces.
Internal Support. Coordinate the various IT systems with lifecycle management of assigned and dependent systems, services, and applications.
Documentation. Manage documentation for all supported services and ensure documentation is current. This may include documents for IT PMO, Disaster Recovery, Architecture Interconnection, etc.
Testing. Test upgrades before releasing them to the Buckeye Business and provide recommendations for upgrades and enhancements.
On-Call Support. Provide on-call support during non-business hours to Operations on an as-needed basis.
Customer Service. Provide exceptional customer service.
Process Improvements. Contribute and/or Lead based on knowledge and experience. Continuously identify potential opportunities to increase efficiencies and/or improvements to existing processes. Identify gaps in the current business model and propose processes that will help move the business forward.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business desired, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
1-3 Years of Cybersecurity Operations experience.
Certification of CompTIA Series Security + is preferred.

Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
Physical & Safety Requirements
The person in this position needs to occasionally move inside the office to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc.
This role continuously operates a computer and other office productivity equipment (i.e. a calculator, copy machine and computer printer).
