Analyst I/II Network Planning

About the role

The Analyst I/II Network Planning position supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure. This role ensures network reliability, performance, and security by monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting day-to-day network operations.

Responsibilities

• Supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization’s network infrastructure.
• Aids in ensuring network reliability, performance, and security by monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and supporting day-to-day network operations.
• Works with technologies such as Cisco, MS Teams, and Fortinet equipment to maintain connectivity and collaborate with team members to resolve incidents and support business needs.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
• Familiarity with network design concepts and best practices
• Experience with Cisco network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Exposure to Fortinet firewalls and VPNs
• Understanding of network security fundamentals (firewalls, VPNs)
• Knowledge of IP addressing and subnetting
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Qualifications

• Relevant technical training, certifications, or equivalent work experience in networking or IT support
• Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

Skills
