ANALYST I

About the role

Patton State Hospital, Human Resources Department, is accepting applications to fill at least one (1) Permanent, Full-time Analyst I (Disability Analyst) in the Human Resources – Compensation Unit. The Analyst I is under the direct supervision of the HR Compensation Manager, Supervisor I.

Responsibilities

• Process, monitor, coordinate, and maintain employee non-work-related leaves, including but not limited to state disability insurance (SDI/NDI) in coordination with Employment Development Department (EDD)
• Request various pays and processing of SDI/NDI, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and catastrophic leave
• Apply State laws, rules, and regulations, and comply with bargaining unit contracts
• Perform a variety of personnel/payroll transactions including accurate processing, certifying, and reconciling payroll transactions, and employment transactions
• Work with various computer systems such as Word, Excel, Access, State Controllers personnel/payroll systems including NDI, SDI, IDL, CSP, PIMS, PIP, Benefits, CLAS
• Meet and adhere to strict deadlines
• Work overtime to ensure completion of assignments and projects as required
