ANALYST I

About the Role

Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the incumbent performs analytical duties for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters. This position is located at 9838 Old Placerville Rd, Sacramento, CA, 95827. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Working Conditions

• The position is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy.
• Employees are required to report to the office (9838 Old Placerville Rd, Sacramento, CA 95827) four (4) days per week.
• The incumbent must be regularly available and willing to work the hours necessary to meet business needs.
• Regular and consistent attendance is critical to the successful performance of this position.

Salary and Classification

• Classification: Analyst I
• Salary Range: $3,861.00 - $6,464.00 (New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.)
• Shall Consider: Analyst II ($6,031.00 - $7,775.00)
• Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Work Week: Monday - Friday
• Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) requires that each full-time employee receive a 3% reduction in pay in exchange for five (5) hours of PLP 2025 leave credits through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect these recent changes.
