About the role

Under the supervision of the Supervisor I, the Analyst I is responsible for coordinating the maintenance, purchasing, and inventorying of BAR’s vehicle fleet. Under the direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II independently performs difficult and complex maintenance, purchasing, and inventorying of BAR’s vehicle fleet.

Working conditions

  • Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee's monthly salary in exchange for leave credits. Employees appointed to this classification will have their monthly salary reduced and will accrue hours of PLP 2025 on the first day of each pay period as outlined on "Section 2113 - Personal Leave Program (PLP)" of the CalHR Manual. The salary range(s) included on this job posting do not reflect the reduction in pay.
  • The incumbent works in an office setting with artificial light and temperature control.
  • The ability to use a personal computer and telephone is essential.
  • The incumbent must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position at a workstation throughout the day and must occasionally position self to perform a variety of tasks including retrieval of files.

Pay

  • Analyst I: $3,861.00 – $4,839.00 (Range A), $4,181.00 – $5,233.00 (Range B), $5,014.00 – $6,276.00 (Range C). New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
  • Analyst II: $6,031.00 – $7,547.00 (Range A)

Schedule

  • Work Shift: 8:00AM – 5:00PM
  • Work Week: Monday – Friday
