Analyst-GME Operational Systems
About the role
The Analyst for GME Operational Systems demonstrates knowledge of RMS, LMS, and similar system software systems and participates in the design, build, support and training for these complex systems. Directly interacts with department administrators and staff to provide automation services in support of the GME accreditation oversight and operations. This position is accountable for developing and sharing knowledge with other members of the GME team and mentoring program administrators to implement systems.
This position is responsible for system level support and oversight of operational systems in use by the GME office to implement the goals and objectives of the department. This individual will serve as the Superuser for software and assist program coordinators and GME Directors in building the database of information and processing reports. The Analyst is responsible for data analysis and reporting for state and national reimbursement and partners with the Finance Manager and system consultants for accurate cost reporting.
Responsibilities
- Performs installation, configuration, maintenance, training, reporting and production support for business applications used in department
- Remain current on ACGME Common Program Requirements and Institutional Requirements, board certification requirements, and state licensing requirements
- Work with program coordinators to optimize the use of all reporting and data systems and customize to meet programmatic needs
- Support leadership in development of reporting and standard work for the software
- Make recommendations for upgrades, integration of other systems, and adoption of compatible software systems
- Train for new coordinators, residents, and faculty physicians
- Works with project managers, system representatives and teams in implementations of new systems, system upgrades and enhancement of current system functionality
- Makes recommendations for upgrades, integration of other systems, and adoption of compatible software systems
- Monitor and collect data on system performance
- Analyze, detect, identify and correct technical problems and deficiencies
- Develop, monitor and implement resident onboarding, offboarding and promotion standard work
- Provide on call support for end users in RMS and LMS system, and serves as a liaison for IT/HR employees
- Provide Department leaders with effective redesign of processes
- Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts
Requirements
Licensure or other certifications: None specified
Education: Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 6 years with information systems, change management or complex software systems configuration experience
Other: Bachelor's degree; in lieu of degree, an additional four years of relevant software systems analysis and system configuration experience
Qualifications
- Excellent skills in learning and optimizing software systems; experience in RMS, LMS, SharePoint, and IRIS software recommended
- Demonstrates well developed and proven organization, problem solving, analytical and time management skills
- Demonstrates sound technical judgement and competent technical skills with ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of individuals, including skills mentoring other team members and resolving complex problems
- Knowledge of ACGME requirements and reporting processes, board certification requirements, and state licensing requirements

Pay
Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually
