Analyst, Global Investment Banking, Consumer & Retail

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative research and analysis on macroeconomic trends, industry dynamics, and company fundamentals
• Prepare client presentation materials, including pitch books and detailed industry overviews across Consumer & Retail sub‑sectors
• Build and maintain financial models, including DCF valuations, trading comparables, precedent transactions, and LBO analyses
• Support the evaluation of corporate finance alternatives, including M&A, capital structure optimization, acquisition financing, and debt capital markets transactions
• Assist in live deal execution by performing financial and operational due diligence, preparing transaction materials, and tracking workstreams
• Collaborate with senior bankers to support client coverage and relationship development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 1+ years of full‑time investment banking experience required
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Familiar with computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Claude and ChatGPT

Qualifications

• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) and Series 79 licenses

Pay

The good‑faith expected salary range for the position is $110,000 – $135,000, depending on class year and factors including experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs. This range does not include discretionary bonus or other benefits.

Work hours/week: 40 (full‑time).
