Analyst - Finance (External Intelligence Team)

Responsibilities

• Prepare analyses across market and competitive landscape to identify emerging trends and macroeconomic conditions impacting PJT’s businesses;
• Maintain materials summarizing peer financials, valuation metrics, acquisitions, and other recent initiatives to help contextualize PJT’s relative positioning;
• Partner with the Investor Relations function on articulating key investor thematics and insights to management;
• Support the Financial Planning & Analysis team with peer-related analytics;
• Assist with various strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Highest level of competency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
• Exceptional intellectual curiosity with proven capability to develop a point of view from complex and often ambiguous information;
• Experience in reading and analyzing complex financial statements;
• Strong written, verbal and communication skills with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders;
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or other related field;
• 2+ years of investment banking, equity research or similar analytically-rigorous financial role.

Pay

• Expected annualized base salary of $80,000 to $95,000.

Schedule

• Full-time.
