Analyst, Finance Business Partner (Revenue)

About the role
This role will be responsible for providing revenue support and analyses while pushing key financial initiatives (e.g., margin and cash flow improvement) across all revenue departments. The Analyst will be a strategic decision-making role collaborating across functions. Working closely with the Sales Divisions, FP&A, Digital Operations, Consumer and CNCC teams, the Business Partnering Analyst will manage revenue, business operations, pricing strategy, and cash flow/margin improvement initiatives. They will build and sustain deep relationships, partnering across departments to influence and drive optimal business performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic business partnering support with insights to influence and drive higher levels of business performance.
- Work in partnership with ad sales, consumer, marketing, and digital operations to drive revenue and decrease expenses (margin improvement).
- Collaborate across all revenue departments to improve cash flow in their respective roles.
- Partner with sales to provide guidance on pricing, deal margin analysis, creation of goals and quotas, analysis of revenue risk/opportunities, and performance to goal tracking.
- Advocate across functions to ensure that financial perspectives are reflected in key decisions.
- Meet, present, and collaborate with Senior Management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years of finance and business operations, preferably within the Media industry.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and present financial data to influence business decisions.
- Ability to understand and generate ad hoc revenue and pipeline reporting.
- Expert proficiency in Excel (including modeling from the ground up), Google Sheets, Slides, and Docs.
- Ability to influence non-financial stakeholders and drive financial perspectives in key decision-making processes.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with experience presenting complex data to various levels of the organization.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a bias towards proactive action in changing environments.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Self-driven, collaborative mindset, and comfortable working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- BS in Finance or Accounting, or similar disciplines, preferred.
Pay
The expected base salary range for this position is from $70,000 to $85,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
