About the role

We have an opportunity for an Analyst, EHS to join our team and support the Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability Department. In this role, you will help ensure the site operates efficiently and maintains compliance with EHS&S standards. You will assist in implementing programs, conducting audits, and supporting initiatives that promote safety and sustainability. This position plays a key role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment for all employees.

  • Identify, assess, and recommend control measures or corrective actions for environmental, health, safety, and sustainability concerns.
  • Partner with business units on EHS initiatives, programs, and compliance with Catalent Global EHS Management Systems, including program leadership and progress tracking.
  • Assist in compliance with site safety and environmental programs, including air, water, wastewater, waste, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Technical Services, Quality Control, Production, Validation, Equipment Services, Finance, and Quality Assurance to analyze technical issues related to EHS initiatives.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert for the Emergency Response Program in coordination with site Security and the Emergency Management Committee.
  • Support production and engineering in preparing Standard Operating Procedures and EHS programs for compliance.
  • Maintain files and documentation records related to EHS compliance activities.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and investigations of violations; provide recommendations and support closure of findings.
  • Stay current on local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, NFPA, RCRA, ANSI, FDA, and GMP requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of related EHS experience.
  • Ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision and strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical publications such as the Code of Federal Regulations and environmental permits.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14,001 and ISO 45,001 standards.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access.
