Analyst Data Governance & Management - Finance

Responsibilities

• Bring and manage data under governance for Finance.
• Ensure the appropriate accountability model and processes for data asset management, metadata management, data quality, and issue resolution.
• Produce data quality scorecards, dashboards, analytical reports, and attestation packages for all processes in scope.
• Perform root-cause analysis of data quality issues and assist in remediation of Audit and Regulatory feedback.
• Support strategic improvements to data assessment process and make necessary enhancements to data analytical and data quality tools.
• Continuing to support our current Regulatory Reporting needs via existing platforms, working with our upstream data providers, downstream business partners, as well as technologies.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and projects related to strategic initiatives and Finance Data Governance enhancements.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in Finance.
• Strong relationship skills and communication essential, partnering with multiple groups like Business process owners, Technologies, and Enterprise Data Governance.
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to manage multiple assignments and projects concurrently.
• Strong Excel and other technical skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to collect business requirements and use them to guide implementation of a technical solution.
• Prior experience with implementation of data governance and data quality programs preferred.
• Prior experience with financial audit & compliance review experience highly preferred.
