Analyst, Corporate Development
About the role
The Corporate Development Team at CVS Health has primary responsibility for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and recapitalizations. They work closely with business segment leaders and enablement functions to assist business segments in maintaining an inorganic strategy and listing opportunities. They also facilitate the process to buy, sell, and recapitalize strategically important inorganic opportunities and report on the performance of previous transactions to various internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develops processes to evaluate the organization's real estate portfolio, including hospitals, clinics, and administrative buildings, by assessing performance, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Creates financial models to analyze potential real estate investments, including acquisitions, dispositions, and lease decisions, ultimately supporting strategic planning.
- Conducts due diligence and supports post-close operating models and integration plans.
- Supports ad-hoc projects in support of executive leadership's goals.
- Oversees prospective real estate acquisitions from start to finish by supervising property inspections, financial analysis, and risk assessments.
- Oversees lease agreements for healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions, rent escalations, and lease renewals.
- Evaluates and manages risks associated with real estate investments, including environmental, legal, and market-related risks.
- Communicates with internal stakeholders, such as senior management and finance teams, to provide benchmarks on new investment strategies and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior relevant work experience: 0-2 years.
- Basic awareness of problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Benefits
The typical pay range for this role is $67,980.00 - $135,960.00. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
