About the role
The Analyst, Corporate Credit will perform fundamental (bottom-up) analysis on quasi-sovereigns and corporate credits in Emerging Markets. The role involves analyzing credits across several industries, performing due diligence, modeling, and presenting investment ideas, as well as monitoring credits and assessing relative value based on risk vs. return in a range of portfolio strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct quasi-sovereign and corporate credit research across a wide segment of industries in Emerging Markets.
- Analyze company financial statements and corporate performance to generate actionable buy, sell, and hold recommendations for credits held in DoubleLine portfolios.
- Prepare written research recommendations and reports.
- Make oral presentations of credit analysis recommendations.
- Communicate with government officials, corporate managements, sell-side analysts, and rating agencies.
- Host and attend company presentations relating to respective coverage.
- Travel as required to attend Emerging Markets Fixed Income conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- CFA designation or progress toward CFA certification, or MBA is preferred.
- 3+ years of credit analysis experience, preferably in Emerging Markets.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365.
- Outstanding initiative and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented with strong integrity and professionalism.
Pay
The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 – $175,000. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
