About the Role
The Analyst, Business Operations & Governance is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working with many different teams. In this role, you'll learn how a global business operates, build strong analytical and organizational skills, and contribute to high‑visibility work that supports customers, suppliers, and internal partners across BW Packaging. You'll help bring structure to complex work, strengthen business processes, and support key activities across Commercial, Procurement, Operations, Finance, Legal, Service, and Risk. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, detail‑oriented, and excited to grow into a trusted business partner.
What You'll Do
Business Operations & Execution
- Manage workflow intake, documentation, approvals, and tracking to keep projects moving.
- Maintain clear records and decision logs that improve transparency and accountability.
- Analyze priorities and progress to help leaders make better, faster decisions.
- Ensure requests and activities align with business processes and governance standards.
Commercial & Supplier Governance
- Support customer and supplier agreement reviews, approvals, and documentation.
- Lead supplier onboarding and qualification activities.
- Maintain supplier compliance materials (insurance certificates, governance records, audit documentation).
- Assist with supplier assessments and continuous improvement of contract and governance processes.
Risk, Compliance & Issue Resolution
- Support compliance requirements, business policies, and governance frameworks.
- Help manage claims, disputes, and contract‑related issues.
- Partner with stakeholders to complete documentation and maintain accurate business records.
- Identify risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities in recurring processes.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Build and maintain SOPs, templates, and playbooks that make work easier and more consistent.
- Support initiatives that reduce manual effort and streamline workflows.
- Identify opportunities to use systems, automation, and new tools to improve outcomes.
- Help implement new reporting capabilities and operating models.
Reporting, Analytics & Business Support
- Create dashboards, reports, and metrics that show how the business is performing.
- Analyze processes to identify opportunities for improvement and risk reduction.
- Support operating reviews, project plans, and action‑item tracking.
- Prepare executive‑ready presentations and business updates.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Build relationships across Commercial, Procurement, Finance, Operations, Legal, Service, and Risk.
- Help align stakeholders with different priorities and perspectives.
- Act as a reliable resource for analysis, problem-solving, and operational support.
- Promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Operations, Supply Chain, Risk Management, Legal Studies, or related field.
- Experience (internships, co‑ops, early roles) in business operations, analytics, project work, procurement, compliance, or related areas is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate clearly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn new systems and tools.
- Interest in continuous improvement, process excellence, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Flexibility to take on evolving responsibilities as the business grows.
