Boralex has been providing renewable and affordable energy for over 30 years. The Group, composed of more than 800 employees, operates renewable assets with an installed capacity of over 3 GW and is developing a project portfolio of 6.8 GW in wind, solar, and energy storage.
About the role
You Will Play An Important Role In Under the supervision of the Manager – Operational Accounting US, the holder of this position will perform the complete accounting cycle tasks for various companies. Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end files according to the group’s procedures, standards, and internal control rules; Provide support to the Manager in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements; Participate in the production of the budget for the entities under their charge; Ensure the reliability of data by meeting the deadlines set by the group and highlighting discrepancies; Collaborate in optimizing methods, tools, and processes; Work closely with the team to ensure interventions align with business objectives; Collaborate closely with all departments; Perform all related accounting tasks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end files according to the group’s procedures, standards, and internal control rules;
- Provide support to the Manager in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements;

Requirements
- Hold active CPA license (asset)
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience (public accounting experience is an asset)
- Experience in financial statement preparation and analytical review of reporting produced (essential)
- Ability to translate financial results to digestible summaries for stakeholders (essential)
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP standards (complex topics)
- Experience in business acquisitions (an asset)
- Knowledge of the Office suite (essential)
- Knowledge of SAP and Longview (an asset)

- Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and the ability to advance complex files
- A good team spirit with strong analytical skills
- Rigor, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
- Respect for objectives and deadlines
