Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform finite element modeling for crash and durability load cases.
• Conduct linear and nonlinear analysis on structural components and vehicle designs.
• Carry out computer simulations for vehicle crash scenarios and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of established CAE methods and processes.
• Optimize the performance of various vehicle subsystems using CAE tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide design direction based on analyses.
• Create and adapt new tools as necessary for analysis tasks.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, Applied Solid Mechanics, and Material Science.
• Experience with CAE software tools such as ANSA, PRIMER, and LS-DYNA.
• Familiarity with materials including aluminum, steel, and composites for crashworthiness.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex engineering problems.
• Strong analytical skills for deconstructing crash test scenarios.
• Experience in fast-paced, iterative engineering environments.
• Basic scripting skills in Python or similar languages.
